During his legendary career, Brady lifted seven Lombardi Trophies — six of them during his time with the Patriots. 

Given his championship pedigree, it came as little surprise that the Patriots legend lent his words to two playoff hype videos as the Celtics try to win an 18th title starting on Thursday night at TD Garden.

On Wednesday, the Celtics released a video narrated by Brady — which chronicled all of the opposing fanbases who have come to regret asking for a playoff showdown with Boston.

After calling out Miami, Cleveland and Indiana (while also calling out Knicks fans who wanted to face Boston in the conference finals), Brady also issued a warning to any Dallas fans ahead of Boston’s matchup against the Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Finals.

“Really? You want Boston? Take it from me: that’s a bad idea,” Brady says. “The (Heat) culture? History. Cleveland? Done for. … And Indy? Over with. But us? We’re still here. Right now, you’re gonna want anyone but Boston.”

During the latest episode of the Celtics’ “All In” docuseries released during Boston’s playoff run, Brady also made a surprise cameo at the start of the video — offering his own thoughts of what a champion means.


“Being a champion is a desire to achieve,” Brady said, in the video. “A lot of people want to be in that big moment, but they’re very fearful of what comes when they don’t get it done the way they want.

“The mindset is always, ‘no fear’ and to prove to everybody how much they trust each other, how much they care about one another, and to prove the desire they have to accomplish something that nobody will ever be able to take away from you.”
