   INDIANAPOLIS – After the Indiana Fever’s 71-70 win over the Chicago Sky, the topic of discussion is the altercation between Sky guard Chennedy Carter and Fever guard Caitlin Clark at the end of the third quarter.  Carter made a jump shot with 15.8 seconds left in the quarter, then prepared to guard Clark, who was set to receive the inbounds pass. Before the ball was thrown into play, Carter lodged her right forearm into Clark’s back, sending Clark to the floor. The play was ruled an away-from-the-play foul due to it happening before the inbound, but it wasn’t upgraded to a flagrant or technical foul. Clark made the free throw to give Indiana a five-point lead heading into the final period. President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday signed into law the bill to revert to Nigeria’s old national anthem which was dropped by a military government in 1978. The newly re-adopted anthem, which begins "Nigeria, We Hail Thee," was written by Lillian Jean Williams in 1959 and composed by Frances Berda. Speaking on his first anniversary in office, President Tinubu said the anthem symbolised Nigeria's diversity. But many have questioned his priorities amid the cost-of-living crisis.   Over 15 years have passed since Amanda Knox’s wrongful conviction in the murder of her roommate, 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, but her legal battles are still far from over. On Wednesday, Knox — who was exonerated of murder charges nine years ago — was re-convicted on slander charges in Florence, Italy, where a court maintains that she unjustly accused an innocent man of killing Kercher during a 2007 police interrogation. Knox and Kercher were college students and housemates studying abroad in Perugia, Italy, when Kercher was found dead in their shared apartment in November of 2007. Italian police determined that Kercher, who was discovered with a slit throat and multiple stab wounds, had also been sexually assaulted. The case — along with salacious suspicions that Knox and her then-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, had been involved — drew international attention.
