AURORA - The semifinals of the 2024 Baseball State Championships for 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A will take place today with the championship game(s) being played tomorrow at four sites across the state.

Third Consolation Round (Friday, May 31)

10 a.m. - No. 8 Prairie View vs. No. 16 Grandview

Fourth Consolation Round (Friday, May 31)

12:30 p.m. – No. 5 Cherry Creek vs. Winner of Third Round Consolation

Championship Round (Saturday, June 1)

10 a.m. – No. 2 Regis Jesuit vs. Winner of Fourth Round Consolation

12:30 pm – Rematch, if needed

Last weekend, No. 2 Regis Jesuit clinched its spot in Saturday’s championship game. Today, No. 5 Cherry Creek, No. 8 Prairie View and No. 16 Grandview will play to determine Regis Jesuit's opponent. All games will be played at All-Star Park in Denver.

No. 5 Holy Family already punched its ticket to the 4A title game, while No. 6 Falcon, No. 2 Golden and No. 3 Pueblo County will play today to secure that second spot in the championship game. All games will be played at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

  As astronomers read back into the first chapters of the universe’s history, they have uncovered a horde of gigantic black holes that seem to have matured much faster than scientists thought possible.
